Nokia Beta Lab's have just announced that their Nokia Image Exchange has been Updated to a newer version to accomodate many users requests for Manual Photo Uploads. This has now been Integrated into this new version, as well as Integrating your Web Version of Nokia Image Exchange into your Existing OVI Account.
This all sounds great, and its good to see that this Beta, Experimental Service is continuing to get support, however, if you, like me, have more than one Nokia Image Exchange Account, for example, more than one sim when setting up your account, you will come across an error page when trying to Integrate your secondary account. This is what has just happened to me, so I fired off an email to the Beta Labs support email, so hopefully they will fix this soon.
As you can see in the image to the right, once you have signed into your web version with your existing Nokia Image Exchange credentials, you are then directed to an Ovi Login page where you need to sign in with your Nokia Account credentials. Whilst doing this myself, I thought this is too good to be true, finally i will have both my Nokia Image Exchange accounts merged into one.
Sadly, as mentioned earlier, this was indeed too good to be true, and I got the error page. Lets hope the guys over at Nokia Beta Labs fix this issue, as Im sure im not the only user to have more than one Nokia Image Exchange account. UPDATE: I have just heard back from Nokia Beta Labs regarding multiple Nokia Image Exchange accounts. Here is what they said..
Thanks for the quick feedback. As of now, we are not yet supporting multiple Nokia Image Exchange accounts under one Nokia / Ovi account. Thus, to use multiple devices you'd need multiple Nokia Accounts.
On behalf of Nokia Image Exchange team,
Janne Kaasalainen
So there you have it. No multiple accounts, no merging, yet anyway.
