Do you STILL not Jaiku...?

Jaiku InvitesA great new service has just been created to help current Jaiku'ers to share those invites to one of my favorite services. Here's the deal- every new user is given ten invites to share... the only problem is getting these invites in the hands of would-be Jaiku'ers. These fine people have recognized and acted on that principal with a service that is simple and quick for both sharers and those seeking invites. I've shared two already today and plan to distribute the rest of my invites, presumably, by the end of the day.

If you're not on Jaiku yet, but want to get started, visit Jaiku Invites and get online today. If you're on Jaiku, and like many of the users still have several invites hanging around, help your fellow man and share them up!

Jaiku is a kick ass service- if you're not familiar with it, pop on over to Jaiku.com for the tour. Even for the most non-technically inclined users that want to stay connected to all their friends and know who's up for a pub meet or whatever the case may be, things couldn't be easier. Check it out- head on over to Jaiku Invites and setup your account today. Takes just a second and you'll be online in minutes. For a Nokia user, there's a wealth of information and discussion going on all hours of the day from Jaiku'ers across the globe on your brand. Speaking of which- there's a brilliant S60 app available for you to keep current with your Jaiku streams on your Nokia mobile, or you can always use the mobile site at m.jaiku.com.

Did you listen to TWiT 134? Everything they wanted twitter to do is already done on Jaiku

No- I don't listen to it. People keep telling me I should check it out- perhaps I should smilies/smiley.gif

I also don't twitter, never have- never will... so I can't speak on that at all. I do dig some Jaiku though.

"Nokia released today that it has seen the consumers needs once again and are bringing in Silverlight for web video content. "

This from the next posting, but when I click on it to read more / post a comment, it says "not found."

I really have to wonder about these "consumer's needs"... is this "nokia users" or "corporate shills?" It seems to me you have your tongues wedged so firmly in in inappropriate place, that you are completely irrelevant. I'm unsubscribing, anyway.

Wow. Sorry you feel that way, mate. Certainly didn't mean to provoke any of these feelings. smilies/sad.gif

At any rate, we're certainly not corporate shills here. Regular readers will be well familiar with my many criticisms of Nokia hardware and services. Read my last Nokia product review- the BH-902... surely these aren't the words of a "shill", mate. Read my rants on the lack of proper lens protection for my N95-3, or near complete disgust with the fact that there haven't been any updates for it. Maybe any of my many bitchings about PC Suite.

I'm afraid you might be getting the wrong idea somehow- but I'm not directly sure where. Certainly I'm a fan of Nokia, but I think if you read a bit more, you'll realize that I'm not bought and paid for- you might even find us a bit 'relevant' if you give us the opportunity.

I'm sorry to lose a reader, but I just think you've read this whole thing wrong.

Cheers
