Nokia Virtual Event - Part Helsinki

T-Minus ten hours....If you just signed with AT&T or O2 and have been drooling over your iPhone this may not mean anything to you. For the rest of us, this means its time for Nokia to release a new phone. And what better way to do it outside of another virtual event, this time in Helsinki, Finland - home of Nokia headquarters. We have one of our own, Pseudofinn, who will be reporting live from the event tomorrow; in which we anticipate the launch of the N82. The candy bar style N82 is rumored to have a 2.4"QVGA 240x320, integrated 5MP camera (with xenon flash), GPS, and several other flagship features we initially saw in the N95; without the slider. If candy bars are your thing, Nokia is once again about to deliver. 

There has already been significant feedback throughout the blogging community around the launch. Stefan from IntoMobile has found some press photos of the N82, which can be found within his flickr account . Cary from the Nokia Phone Blog has managed to decompile the flash file from Nokia N Series True Stories and made a nice discovery confirming the N82 launch; more info here .

Looking back just a few months ago in London we got a peek of Ovi- Nokia's Internet Service consisting of a new music store along with a refined N-Gage platform, a Nokia touch screen prototype, along with an arguably upgraded N95. We expect tomorrow to deliver similar excitement levels, so take your seats ladies and gents- we're in for a ride.
