The N75 was designed specifically for the NOrth American market, with it 3G bands designed for their netowrks. It was still offered
in other countries as well.
Core Features
Music is one of the N75's strong points. Since it is a clamshell, their are media keys under the external display for music playback
control. Sadly stereo Bluetooth was not included on this model, and a standard 3.5mm headphone input is missing as well. The Pop-Port headphone adapter is required to listen to music through headphones.
Taking snapshots on the go are a breeze. Pictures come out at a maxium resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It also has flash for taking
photos in dark situations are a problem. Sending out those pictures in an MMS message would speed along through the N75 3G connection.
Since the N75 was built with 3G bands for America, it was the first one from Nokia with mobile broadband support in that market. The added speed helped users to surf the net faster and check emails quicker than ever before on a Nokia in North America.
With the N75 being a smartphone, Americans that were so enthralled with other clamshell mobiles, it helped turned some away from other mobile makers. For the first 3G enabled North American Nokia, the N75 was leagues head of the other models being offered at the time.
