Just got up from a late night, grabbed some coffee, logged on to N95users.com to see what was going on and read that the new firmware update has been released for the N95-1. The latest firmware for the Nokia N95-1 is now available for EURO1 product coded devices .
v20.0.015 Demand Paging Search 4.0 from Active Standby Maps 1.2 NGage Wicked fast image processing... From the Nokia Support Forums... Sadly - YouTube apparently does not work in this firmware as it did in the WRT . The old Mutimedia menu is still present as well, but this is one hell of a nice update. Demand paging is a BIG feature. It's time to back up your old school N95 and update it right now. Sadly- this update is not available for the N95-3 US variant. Us schmucks will have to presumably wait a bit for the speed boost from Demand Paging. Hopefully that's not a long wait.

Why do you need more RAM for US variant of N95. It has plenty. I believe it's already having On Demand Paging (ODP)

Hmmm... I'm not so sure about that. Certainly the N95-3 has enough RAM, but it's dog slow when booting and every aspect of the imaging- loading the camera, processing the image and scrolling through the calendar. When you compare it to the 8GB N95 or the N81, it's very slow. I can only imagine this is from demand paging- can you confirm that it does in fact feature demand paging?
