Yesterday both the Nokia X6, and the X3 have had new firmware released. Techknots tells us, this firmware upgrade comes with updated versions of several applications such as the Browser, Mail for Exchange, and Shazam etc for Nokia X6.
The Nokia X3 gets improved battery charging notification and ring and alert tones. Also it is now easier to register your device with Nokia’s Ovi Music Unlimited (previously known as Comes With Music) using pinless activation.
V21.0.004 is available to certain product codes via NSU (Nokia Software Updater), and OTA (Over The Air), and although the Nokia X6 comes with UDP (User Data Preservation), its still highly recommended that you back up your handset information, installed apps, and games, just in case anything should go wrong during the update process.
Although no Official Change Log is currently available from Nokia, thanks again to Techknots for supplying us an unofficial log which readers have sent in, which can be seen below.
