N81 8GB restarts on WLAN

Hi All,

I have bought the N81 8GB today. Overall I am very pleased with the phone, BUT I have noticed a nasty bug!

When I try to connect to local Wireless Network, WEP secured, I enter the key in all CAPS. Phone tries to connect and RESETS.

I have tried many times, it resets every time. Very unpleasant.

I have then downloaded the nokia updater software and updated the firmware to the latest version. The same problem remained. Device restarts once I try to connect to the wireless network.

Then I have tried entering the network wep key in lower case, such as abcde1a instead of ABCDE1A...you get the idea.

It connects to the network now and does not restart; however, once connected it takes a long time for it to display which network it is connected to on the first screen (lets call it a desktop).

Anyone had similar issues?

since you just updated it, format it again and see if it still gives you the same problem.
