Garmin on N95 8gb

Hello Peeps,
I have garmin mobile xt installed on my N95 8gb phone. Unfortunately the garmin graphics have installed in the gallery/images folder. Is there any way they can be moved without trashing the garmin application? Also a minor point, I have a bought copy of garmin xt on my N95 which, when started shows a blue/black splash screen, wheras my 8gb phone shows tha garmin black screen. There doesnt seem to be any difference in the actual programmes except that the 8gb version has speed warnings and speed camera info. By the way, only just discovered this great forum, very informative, keep up the good work! cheers.fredw

you can simply open the gallery, and delete all the garmin files, and garmin still works fine. i have done this as well as many others, and it has no effect at all on garmin. it doest even delete the images, just removes from your gallery.

However, I have no tried this yet (complication of about 4 different memory cards of mine - its a long story), so I urge caution with this method.

Would be good to just cut n paste the images somewhere else, just in case.
