Installation of third party software, particularly something you sign on your own, is always at your own risk. Nokia can obviously make no claims that any S60 app that is developed will not break other areas of the OS- so you'll have to submit your bug to Samir, the creator of RotateMe in hopes that this can be resolved.

Hello PseudoFinn, administrator,

It is not a problem of installing third party software. I have a N95 since 2 weeks now and did not install any other software. It's a standard phone. But after synschronising my outlook agenda via the Nokia software I lost my usb-ports on my laptop and up to now I couldn't fix that problem. Synchronising is working very correct though.
Please respond and if you are good/familiar with nokia n95 could you also tell how to remove the text concerning WLAN-scan from the display so that I have only my agenda on the display?

@janl, the only way to remove the WLAN scanning from your standby screen is to disable 'Active Standby'. But this will also hide your 6 Shortcut icons and the calendar.
If this is what you would like to do simply go MENU>TOOLS>SETTINGS>GENERAL>PERSONALISATION>STANDB Y MODE and once here, switch 'Active Standby' to OFF

@06remo, I've not had such a problem with the 8GB N95 variants- are you getting some kind of error or message displayed when you select data transfer after plugging in the USB cable?

@JanL, I'm not sure what you mean- the USB ports on your laptop will not function now with other devices, or data transfer with your N95?

As to ther original issue, why would you need Rotateme on an N95-2 with the latest firmware, which has ASR? Forgive me if this is not available to you yet.

My N95-2 usb transfer works fine with V20, and did too with V15. Im running Vista 32Bit, SP1.

I think ASR is only present in the gallery, yes? RotateMe can be handy for things like SlingPlayer and other apps that the native ASR utility does not handle.

ASR works in all menus on my N95-2, also when playing games.
