Best earphones for the N95

I've been reading a lot about how a nice set of earphones can improve the sound quality of the N95....Can you guys suggest the best earphones around? I don't know anything about earphones....Please name top 3 price is not a factor.

Thanks so much!

if you want to hear your music like you've never done it before, check out the in ears from bose. The 100 bucks are a got investment! Unbelievable sound quality! The complete product name is Triport IE.

I got the Sony MDR-EX90LP, best headphones I've ever owned. And I always splurge on headphones. The bass is superb and they sound wicked on the N95. (On everything else too) :p

Also, the comparable product, being the Bose TriPort IE, has received some pretty negative reviews, they have fit and noise isolation problems, and many people have opted for MDR-EX90LP saying they are a superior product, and a couple of dollars cheaper I might add.

If it's in ear you're after, I promise you wont be disappointed. The rubber cupping design does actually block out a lot of external noise, without the need to shell out hundreds on noise-cancelling.

The BEST headphones aren't the best headphones for the n95.
I've got a set of ER4P headphones which are about the best you can get. However they kill the N95. Just bring out everything that's wrong with the sound quality. The N95 is an OK music player but don't expect too much.

Regards,
Simon

I'm not sure what you mean by that. How do they kill the N95? I know they are the 'power' version but do they seriously drain the battery that much?? I at least compare my N95 to my ipod. I bought new headphones as said above same time as the N95 so maybe I should plug them into my ipod as well but as long as I rip my music from CD in medium quality the sound is brilliant and I cant even approach 100% volume on the N95 as it hurts my ears. Bass Booster is on as standard of course.

Not talking about battery or volume. The ER4P's are just SO clear they give you back everything from the music. This means every detail of every note, etc. But it also means they pick up all the compression of compressed mp3 music, and worst of all all the static coming over the N95 headphone plug.

I see. That static is a wierd one isnt it. Every time the N95 makes a sound (e.g. Button Press, play music) it is underscored by 1 second of 'noise', or at least as long as the N95 is outputting some kind of sound. I wonder if this is a hardware problem or a software problem? Its something that has irked me as well Im suprised there is not more talk about it around here. Maybe its only select units? Its certainly been present on the 4 handsets I've owned..

Anyone else care to chirp in?
