Not a Nokia one, but I did use the Jabra BT250 for a day, then I returned it due to poor quality. It was strange, as I thought they were supposed to be a good brand, but nonetheless, I got rid of it.

Now I use a BT kit in my car, and the quality isn't that great either. I'm starting to suspect the N95 as the problem...

Anyway, those new bluetooth over-ear headphones from Nokia look great ( http://europe.nokia.com/A4487162 ), but they aren't released yet.

Other than that, the Jawbone ( http://www.jawbone.com ) is supposed to be the bees knees of bluetooth headsets, but they are a tad on the big side. I haven't seen one in the flesh though.

I use the Jabra BT8010. It's a great headset- capable of acting as both a mono headset with OLED display complete with a call list and built-in phonebook, or a set of stereo A2DP headphones with AVRCP features. If you want some more information, I've got a nice review I can post for you.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten my hands on any Nokia headsets yet to give you my views on them.

Have you used it with any other handsets mate, or just the N95?

I've just got a new Nokia 6131 from work which also has bluetooth so I'm going to check the quality of that with my carkit and see if there is any difference to the N95. I'm hoping there isn't; in that I hope they both are the same, so I can take the carkit back to the dealer and get them to fix it. That would also mean I got a dud Jabra BT250, which would equate to some pretty bad luck.

Which is why I think it's my N95. Anyway it would be good to measure the N95 vs. some other Nokia's phones just for interests sake.

I'll check it out with the N76 later today. I'm also looking into hacking my N800 to add A2DP. I'll let you know...

Sounds interesting..... So, are you going to force flash your N800 with firmware from another model, or use another method? Another good one was the N73 getting 'upgraded' to N73 Music Edition by means of a firmware flash... Happy new owner all over again :-)

No- it's some involved linux hacking deal- I haven't really looked into it yet much, thoughtfix from tabletblog.com sent me a link to a page that has an "easier" method- though nothing is really "easy" with the N800, especially getting it to do things it's not intended to do.

I just can't believe it doesn't come with support for bluetooth headsets, let alone A2DP...

Just did a test between my N95 and 6131. Strange results.

Using the 6131, the recipient said it sounded like my voice was distant, but the quality of their voice to me was loud and clear.

Using the N95, the recipient said my voice was clear, but I had a much harder time hearing them, I needed more volume on their voice, but my car kit is already at full volume...

So that hasn't really answered anything!

LOL - I wonder if there is anyway you can increase the transmit power of the internal bluetooth chip? You can do it with the WiFi chip as we all know... I just wonder if it needs to cranked up a noch or two...

You ever heard of anyone talk about that?
