Default Sandisk 8 GB Class 4 Micro SDHC Card

So I was watching tv today and saw a rogers ad advertising the w910i as a 8 gig phone, so I figured "if the 8 gig M2 card is out, then the micro sd card prolly is also". And sure enough its on the sandisk page:
http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item...oSDHC_8GB.aspx

Available At
Verizon Wireless: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...Memory%20Cards
3: http://www.threeaccessories.co.uk/SD...1M_details.htm
Carphone Warehouse: http://shop.carphonewarehouse.com/ac...ory-card-8gb-/

Buy.com:http://www.buy.com/prod/sandisk-micr...205835525.html
But its still "temporarily sold out", so it looks like there gonna get it soon.

they don't have a picture for it, but check the model numbers, they match, so I think its what were looking for.

I think it's been listed as 'temp out' for a while on buy.com. Hopefully they get stock soon.

Endgadget has announced that theyve started shipping.

And I think Sandisk updates its website when the release of a new product is imminent.

also looks compatible with N95, touch, and 8310.

I phoned a retailer in my home town and they stock the 8gb card for TWICE the price of a 6gb card. I think i'll be doing the ebay thing. Got my Sandisk 2gb card from ebay for $25AU with free postage.

Question

The N82 should support the 8GB size no doubt, since it's a new device which some new nokias are standardised to support the micro SDHC format up to 8GB, if not more.

I was wondering though, will the N95-1 support more than the 8GB size if larger sizes are announced?, theoretically this would be beating the N95 8GB's hardrive if it does, which is a good thing to current N95-1 owners lol.

Yeah, for the rest of you guys, you won't be able to get more than 8 gigs unless you want to lose the ram, screen, battery and use a N95-1, or you could just lose the 3G and use a N95-3. Removable memory is so much better

Question MicroSDHC and Nokia N95-1

Hello everyone. I'm contemplating getting a Sandisk 6GB SDHC card for my Nokia N95-1.

One thing I would like to get clear assurance on is whether it can support SDHC cards.

Second Question, do all the N95s (N95-1 to N95-3) support SDHC? If not all of them do, then which one(s) do and which one(s) don't.

Regards.

Yeah- all N95's support SDHC. I have used a 4GB SDHC card in both the N95-1 and N95-3 (N95-2 is of course the 8GB model and does not have expandable memory).

MobilePlanet had the 8GB class 4 microsd card for 64 USD! A friend alerted me to it last night, and by the time I got up this morning, it had jumped back up to 100 dollars. Still not a bad price- but 64 dollars would have sealed the deal right away for me.
