proporta... Looks nice. But the phone is already a bit bulky for me. Maybe the clear case...

I've just ready this... Digital Common Sense » Some updated thoughts about the Nokia N95

The guy says that disabling the searching for 3G and GPRS extends the life. Since I don't live in a 3G area, I've switched it to GSM only. Aslo made the packet data manual, so maybe I'll last past lunchtime tomorrow? That said, I am nailing the music player at work.

Nothing from Scosche yet. :(

And to top it off, just found my fave game! R-Type. But it's only a 1 level demo :( Trying to find out how to buy it now...

Right, and disable WLAN searching... if you haven't already. Cutting the bluetooth will help too if you're not using bluetooth audio out.

Edit-

Just read the article. He mentioned all of this already.

Yeah, well not to get off the thread subject intentionally, but I've had a full day today, played about 4 CD's worth, a few calls at work and I've got about 70% battery left.

= Result!

Just gotta get my scosche working now :/

Hopefully they can get you sorted out.

I'd try giving them a call directly. They're super friendly and eager to please on the phone. Worth a shot- might get you squared away right off.

Well. I reported the phone as faulty knowing that yours works fin with the Scosche and O2 just delivered a shiny new N95...

Exactly the same problem: Paired up first time, then on a reconnect, completely crashed the N95 to the point where I had to remove the battery.

Scosche have not replied.

So I'm going to buy the proper Nokia AD2P gateway and bin the Scosche as a bad idea.

Thanks for your help though. Appreciated.

:)

Strange. I'd have to assume at this point (since I have no problems with my scosche device) that you have a defective unit. I really recommend calling them directly. I bet they send you another one out right away.

Yeah. I was already watching it, it's gone to £18 now :(

Scoshe have sent me a new receiver, no questions (Fair play!). Same problem though, didn't work on that receiver either. So that's 2 Scosche's and 2 Phones... Go figure...

I can't believe that the two Scosche's are broken though, so I still think it's the phone. And to top it off, the new N95 won't pair with my car kit correctly (the previous one did), the Wifi is also intermittent and the front cover rattles terribly!

I rang O2 to tell them and the guy admitted that pretty much every other call he was taking was to replace an N95. He said that Vodafone have dropped the N95 today (? true ?) He says the build quality of the most recent batches are awful! Anyway, I've got another N95 arriving Friday. 3rd time lucky perhaps...

By the way. This has kinda gone off subject, let me know if I should stop posting and bumping it. If anyone is interested in the outcome, I'll carry on posting.

I'm having the exact same problem too. It worked succesfully the first time I tried but no luck since. The scosche receiver works fine with the scosche transmitter. Did you get yours working in the end?
