Motorola S805 DJ headphones

I just received this unit 1 day ago. It seems very well built. Looks nice if your ok with large headphones. Comes with 2.5 mm jack to 3.5mm jack, wall charger, manual, and a carrying case that seems to protect well. After I charged it for 3 hours, I connected it to my n95-4 with no problems. Sound was pretty good but the bass would start to crackle at mid high to high volumes so you may want to lower your eq bass settings. The range was suprisingly good for me. I got about 6-7 meters out of it. It connected well with my laptop. I was able to connect it to my phone and laptop at the same time. I was listening to music on my laptop and when a call came in, it paused and played my ringtone. It's decently loud. Wish it was a little bit louder. For me, these headphones were terrible at taking a call. The other person could not hear me when I was speaking at moderate levels. I would recommend these just for listening purposes. I have not had chance to test the battery life but I will in the upcoming days. I will update on it.

They look nice!

So is it bluetooth or wired? The review seems to indicate wireless:
"After I charged it for 3 hours"
"The range was suprisingly good for me. I got about 6-7 meters out of it"

But the picture and the mention of cables confused me:
"Comes with 2.5 mm jack to 3.5mm jack"

I had some SkullCandy cans once that were wired but had a battery aswell for the inbuilt sub amp, perhaps this is why these are powered?

Have you got any more details?

It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!

Oh sorry for not making that clear. It can be plugged in or used wirelessly.

Neat! So if you use it via bluetooth, can you remove the wires?

Yes you can. The wires are there just incase you want to save battery and not use bluetooth.

That's a nice touch. sometime, like on a train, I would like that function, when wireless is not a requirement. They certainly sound flexible.

Very flexible. The battery life in reviews lasted around 17 hours. That would last you a couple train rides.

Update, I have used the headphones for the past couple days. One day I used it approximately for 3-4 hours listening to music. 2nd day about 2 hours at the gym. 3rd day about 4-5 hours with music, and the 4th day about 4-5 hours connected to my laptop watching movies and it hasn't sounded the low battery alert. Really good battery life.

I've been plugging this headset here for a long time, had mine since last year. I really like the option to use them wired - great for my guitar amp (and at times like on flights when bluetooth isn't allowed....).

I don't have problems with the bass breaking up though...

Did you adjust your eq? It only breaks up on the default EQ setting. I had to adjust the bass lower to stop the break up.
