Smile Review of I.Tech Bluetooth headset

I came across this bluetooth headset at local PC stores known as the I.Tech Bluetooth Headset. It is manufactured by a Hong Kong company, which is listed on the stock exchange.

The headset consists of a bluetooth clip and a standard headphone jack in which you can connect your earphones to. While It seems to defeat the purpose of having a bluetooth unit with still needing to use wired earphones, the thing that caught my attention is the fact that it has an integrated FM tuner.

The unit allows you to preset 4 FM radio stations, which is a plus point. However, there is no LCD displays to show what station you are tuning to. But once it is set, it seems to offer good quality reception of radio stations.

In addition, it is able to listen to mp3s via the phone as well as answer calls. When there is an incoming call, the music will pause, and resumes after calls are ended. All in all, I feel that it is a good alternative if you really must have FM.

It retails for around USD$75.00

An update of some pics, and a price drop. Managed to grab one at SGD$99.00, which is equivalent to about USD$63.00.

Have had a few I-Tech headphones before and all were quite nice. The stock stereo headsets can handled the lows (bass) pretty well too.
