Yahoo! Answers - How do you find out my wep key for my bt home hub?
If you have a WLAN/Wi-Fi (wireless) router that requires a WEP (encryption/decryption) key, then you get the key from whomever administers your WLAN/Wi-Fi router.
If it is you, then you specify it using the router's admin tools (look in the router's user manual for details; they're all different).
On the phone, you enter the key when you define a WLAN access point (menu | Tools | Settings | Connection | Access points).

The WEP key is usually printed in the back of the router- ie the thing that your phone line plugs into then broadcasts the wireless signal to your PC or phone.
I had the same problem and phoned BT to be told- look at the back of your router!

Agree, on the BT Hub the WEP key is on the back. Same with the Linksys
To find your Nokia Firmware version, key *#0000#. The V##.#.### shown is your current Firmware! Please add these details with Nokia model to your profile. This information will help others help you. Thank you.!
