My cousin from the UK (I live in US) told me today he bought me the n95 and sent me a couple pictures. I'm going to UK in about 3 weeks so i'll get it then. My question is, however, will the phone work in the US ?

Making a phone call, sending sms etc, not a problem. 3G most likely not. Please see FAQs for more info.

thanks, that definitely helps! I don't even know what 3g is and if it's something extra like for data transfer or web my parents probably wouldn't have added it to our plan anyways so no worries about that. (and yes, before anyone yells at me for not looking it up, i wikipedia'd, but i have a headache and it didn't make much sense...i'm sure it'll make sense later)

Thats right 3G is for high speed data transfer over the cellular/mobile network. Did you know the N96 is coming out? If I were you I wait for that. But that is just me.
