Wlan dosn't connect

hey everyone i hv nokia 5800 xpress music. My WIFI was working fine few days back but i don't know what happened it suddenly stopped working. mean i get the signals of WLAN network but when i try to connect nothing happen it remain unconnected. whts the problem i cant figure out. i tried connecting different network but same problem it remain unconnected :smileysad: anyone help

Welcome to the forums!

Maybe best removing that access point, and reassigning it. Then make sure you have set its priority to the number 1 position in destinations.

dude i tried there is no prob in destination its in priority 1. but the prob is i cant connect to Wlan network.
signals are coming but when i press connect but it remain unconnected.

Try resetting/rebooting your router, then let us know.

Router? but i tried connecting on different routers. i tried connecting wlan at my friend house but same problem it remain unconnected no matter how many time i press connect.
could it be the problem of mobile software

I very much doubt is seeing as its built in the OS. Have you installed anything recently that maybe causing this problem?

umm i installed kespersky security and fingr print but i am not sure after installing them it happend i dont remembr exactly. ok i will try after removing them

Sounds like it's a firewall being generated by Kaspersky.

thanks micky actually when u asked, Have you installed anything? immediately kespersky came in my mind i was gonna remove but i turned the mode of kespersky from protective to normal and then Wlan started working

Excellent, glad you got it fixed. You really don't need antivirus, or firewall software on your device, just common sense.

hi..
i have a nokia X6 and am getting prob with my wlan..!! it says connected but wen browsing web it says "do not exist or has been removed"..!!
am getting intenet at home and other places but not at work!! it is not blocked coz other people are getting access except me...

It could be a one of those inexplicable cases of simple incompatibility of your office routers and your X6. I had the same issues at work with my 5800 at the time and it was driving me nuts. We moved premises, got new equipment and now all my phones connect problem-free to our office WLAN.

but i was getting internet before! i dnt no wat i did n z connection just lost..!! its just my mobile... i'v tried resetting z rooter but nothing...
i thought some1 might help me...
