Strengthen Wifi Connection

Any way to do it?
It appears my laptop can get a stronger signal from my wifi router than the phone, is there any way to strengthen the signal? (the router is about 5-10 metres away (through a couple of walls)...

As with everything on the N95. the wi-fi works ok but not particularly well. All my other wireless gizmos receive far better signals than my N95

I don't have tx power level on advanced settings, odd!

Could it be due to older firmware?

What are the options in your 'Advanced settings', Txt power level should be right there.

is the n95s reception really that bad? My n82s reception gets great reception from my first floor when my ds and iphone don't (router is on third floor). If the n95 doesn't get good reception...then its a shame cause apparently the gps recievr isn't placed optimally either. Don't compare reception to a laptop/wii/desktop, they ovbiously have much bigger radios.

I have no issues with my WiFi. Works a treat.

It's not always the signal strength, it's down alot to the basic Wifi on the phone. Don't forget it's not the same a wifi card or anything it's a scaled down version.

You need to adjust the Power Save option to make it appear if I recall correctly...
