Trying to get some information together, and to determine if issues that many a member has had recently with connectivity with their N95, PC Suite, and or NSS.
There are also issues relating to some versions of Vista. Home, and Ultimate both reported by several members, as having issues with NSU etc, with only Vista Business, so far still enabled to use NSS. So, if you could list your PC Suite version, and PC OS version (if Vista) That would be great. To check what version of PC Suite you have, open PC Suite, and click on HELP, then scroll to ABOUT PC SUITE. Mine is... PC Suite.. Version 6.85.1.4.1 PC Operating System.. Vista Business. No issues.

I am useing version V1.6.80.0.....with Vista ultimate.

PC Suite: 6.85.14.1
Nokia Software Updater: 1.4.36en (forced update) Windows XP Pro SP2 Never installed NSS ... everthing working.

PC Suite: 6.85.14.1
Nokia Software Updater: 1.4.36en (forced update) Windows Home SP2 NSS installed ... after updating NSU, can't connect to PC Suite or NSU not detecting the phone. I had to uninstall PC Suite and NSU. When only PC Suite is installed it works... but if NSU is installed also nothing works.... Update: after windows update everything works now. Last edited by dayene; 04-09-2008 at 01:18 PM. |

Version 2.0.262.0 Nokia Software Updater Version 1.4.23en Nemesis Service Suite Not used PC Operating System Windows Visa Business Service Pack 1 - Laptop Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 - Home PC All systems go. I run NSU with Administrative privileges. |

pc suite is 1.6.80.0
this didn't work on vista premium on a new Toshiba p200 laptop, but did work on xp sp2 professional. i was wondering (after i sorted it) weather if i had set compatibility to xp sp2 in vista if it would have worked. now i have managed to get the update done i just don't fancy trying in-case some thing goes wrong. |

installed PC Suite 6.85 and worked fine in Vista and XP, installed PC Suite Nseries 2. something worked fine in Vista and XP, the only thing in vista is the MS Live Messenger it stoped working in vista
