Bush's face takes a grim look and he replies "OK, thanks". Then he starts to cry. Cheney is really puzzled and he asks Bush: "Why do you cry over two Brazilian soldiers?"
Bush looks up to him, still crying and asks: "Dick, do you know how many thousand two Brazilian are? I forgot to ask the general."

Many thanks for your reply. I read your guide but however i have a few questions about it .So i be happy if you guide me with it since i am not router expert :

1)I hope by changing router settings i am not disabling any security feature.Could you confirm that i am not harming the security of my wifi connection ?

2) My wifi setting is already set to use infrastructure Mode but i don't know where and how to give my n95 an IP on my local subnet ?Furthermore, i use linksys router so how i make sure my router doesn't assign 192.168.1.95 to other devices?

Quote:
Set it to manually, Give it an IP on your local subnet, for example if your router is 192.168.1.1 make your N95 192.168.1.95.
Make sure that if your Router has DHCP enabled it does not assign 192.168.1.95 to other devices.!!
3) where in n95 i set the gateway and DNS to my router ip ?how about the subnet mask ?
Quote:
3. On N95 still, set Gateway and DNS to your Routers ip (192.168.1.1), set Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0.
4) In my linksys router under firewall i have this :

SPI firewall protection Enabled Disabled

How i should allow Inbound UDP Traffic to the ip i gave to my Nokia (192.168.1.95) for the Port Range 6970-7170 UDP?

Quote:
4. On your WiFi Router go to Its Firewall Section.
Now here you have to allow Inbound UDP Traffic to the ip you gave to your Nokia (192.168.1.95) for the Port Range 6970-7170 UDP.

No real security loss there.

You do that on the N95, under access points in your wlan ap settings.
Your Router will have some option to limit the address range available to the DHCP server.

Also in the accesspoint options, under IPv4 settings

No Idea, never had a Linksys. Consult your manual or ask on their forum.
It's in there somewhere, any router must have this option.
It might be under Port forwarding, or under Virtual Servers if it isn't under firewall.
