using my nokia n95 as modem

I want to use my nokia N95 that all ready has a rogers data plan as a high speed internet connection at my cottage.
I know there a few programs out there for n95. Which is the best and and do i need for my pc to make the connection?

If you have PC Suite on your PC, simply connect the phone to the PC via the usb cord, open PC Suite and click on "connect to internet".
Usually the top right icon in the PC Suite main window.

Ok i got it to work, but the on issue.

The data counter on my phone does not move while browsing from my pc on with my nokia n95 as a wired modem?

Any idea how i can keep track of my ddata usage? I obviously dotn want to exceed the 5gb limit?

Under tools - log you will find packet data. I'm not sure if this logs data from all connections or not so I would test it first. Also you will have to reset your counters based on your billing period.

NO that is what i looked at the packet data counter. It is not counting my data when using my pc for browsing?
It does work fine and counts when browsing on my cell.

ok , got that resolved. I am using rogers as my service provider in canada. Any idea how i can ensure if my connection is secure/encrypted or not?
