nokia 95 8 GB doesn't connect to internet after upgrading firmware

I upgraded my nokia device to the latest firmware, following the tips of JamesK, and it all went well, apparently.
HOwever, when I tried to configure the internet connections, I started to receive a problem that I never had before, that is "connessione dati a pacchetto" is not available. The sentence "connessione dati a pacchetto" that is in italian, I don't know how to translate into english: should be something like connection data. I went on the NOkia web site, and followed the configuration wizard that is in my phone, to no use. I tried more and more times to configure the connection according to my ip, but I only managed to fix the wap connection, while the internet connection still gives me the same problem. Any clue? looks like packet data connection to me, that would fit
