WiFi Sucess on Apple Airport Extreme

Relatively new to forum and stepped on somebody else's thread in late August when comparing N95 to IPhone( I in a manner have both)--apologies for the error
At any rate I had a devil of a time getting N95 on to an Apple extreme WiFi network and spent an inoordinate amount of time trying to reconfigure , fiddling arount 128 hexadecimal passwords and the like all to no success.
In the end I reset the airport base station security settings from WEP to WPA and did so on the N95 and now it works like a charm.
the AEBS is a preN model and I think it would have been a long time before i could have got it to work on WEP .
So anyone out there in N95land who happens to be an Apple person and is having WiFi problems give WPA a try http://www.n95users.com/forum/images...s/director.gif

I successfully connect mine with WPA2 only mode. The only hiccup was I had to shorten my password a little. It used to be a 63 character password and I dropped it to about half that. It just wouldn't seem to work with the longer password. Maybe I got a character wrong, maybe not. It works now though and I can't wait to test out truphone with the wifi...

Few days ago I found AirGrab WiFi Radar(have you heard about this tool?), it's a program to display information about Apple Airport base stations and other WiFi (802.11b/g/n) wireless access points. Using this tool you can determine most popular WiFi channels and select optimal channel for your WiFi network.
I think it 'll be helpful to all... (btw, it's free....)
U can read more information on their site airgrab.com
