N95 modem through Wi-Fi
Is it possible to make the N95 use Wi-Fi as the connection type when using it as a modem?
It seems to default as wap... thanks

Yup, just change it under settings>packet data>access points to either "WLAN" or "Always ask"

Don't think it's possible when using it as a modem.

Wondering if I could bump this as I'm quite interested in doing the same.
Basically, I want to use the N95 as a Wifi adapter, via the bluetooth modem option. Is there any way to trigger the N95 to connect to a specific WLAN connection when initialising it as a Bluetooth modem, perhaps using init strings? (Please avoid asking why! lol) |

Hey, I have the same issue. I have a G4 mac mini with no airport/bluetooth and I'm using the n95 as a usb modem to connect over my provider's GPRS network. However, I have a wifi network setup in my house, so I'd like to use the n95 as an adaptor...anyone know if this is possible?

No, it's not possible to set WiFi as the access point for the N95 built in modem.
