How fast is your Wifi d/l speed?

Is there a way or settings to make the wifi d/l speed much faster?

3Mbps is certainly possible under HSPDA (3.5G), vodafone UK are advertising a USB modem as having 7.2Mbps.

jeckthehell: Are you sure you are using WiFi? If so you should be getting the same speed as your internet connection.

As Homer sya your wifi d/l speed really depends on the wifi hotspot you're connected to.

If your sharing the point with a lot of other users speeds may drop when your all d/l something. If your connected to your own private wifi speed will depends on what kind of line the wifi router is connected to

It also depends on the content you are downloading - I've found that some podcasts download very slow - even on the computer - simply because their servers are overloaded or slow.

I've gotten up to 550kb/sec (5Mbit) on a 802.11b network at a hotel so the phone is clearly capable of DL at reasonable speeds.
