Red face Synchronizing between Outlook & my N95

Hi everyone again - sorry but its my 2nd question today, however here goes:-

I want to sync "recurring" "Events" (NOT Appointments or Meetings) and although I am able to enter all recurring events successfully on my PC Outlook Calender, it fails to sync totally with the phone in that the phone only shows the first "Event" with NO recurring's shown.
Any advice on achieving recurring "Events" on my N95 would be much appreciated.

P.S. "Events" entries on my PC Outlook are called "Memo" entries on my N95.

P.P.S. My N95 is a N95-1 running V20.

when you set the settings for the sync did you go to advanced settings and set how far in the future you want to sync? This might be why the recurring events aren't showing up in the future. I think the default was a month or something like that

Hi and thanks for the speedy reply,
Yes I set them for 1 year into the future.
Could my problem be that the phone itself will not do recurring "Memos"? or am I mistaken in this?

haven't played around with the syncing much but I'll play with it and see if I can come up with a solution before someone comes by with help

ziffos - I tested your setup on my outlook and i got the same result as you. It seems to me that the only entries that sync with a recurrence are the Appointment entries.

Hi Jopox,
Yes I agree but thanks for trying - I will have to live with it unless someone comes up with an answer.

Hi, I have a Nokia N95 too and I have the same problem with recurring events syncing (appointments and meetings are ok).
I'm very disappointed because with my old N73 everything works well (same outlook 2003 calendar and same nokia pcsuite 6.85.14.1). The problem is N95 software... I have latest firmware 21.

I could be very wrong about this, but is it possible because subsequent events won't show up into the calendar until the previous event has passed?

I think I had the same problem with tasks..
