Exclamation Microsoft Phone Data Manager. Confirmed to work with N95

Will my phone work with this application?

In order for your phone to work with this application, the phone needs to support some common standards. For contacts synchronization, your phone needs to support the SyncML standard, and for file download it needs to support OBEX. In some select phones that do not support SyncML, we are able to utilize the AT command set to provide a limited contact sync functionality. And of course, your phone should have Bluetooth or USB connectivity.

In general most of the newer model phones that have Bluetooth tend to have support for the above protocols and hence can work with the application.

We try to test the application with as many phones as possible, but given the number of phones available today, it is not possible for us to test with every phone. We have tested the application with a set of about 50 phones, and we are constantly testing newer phones.

The list of phones that we have tested and know that they work with Phone Data Manager is given below. We also have provided a list of phones that we know will not work with Phone Data Manager. If your phone model is not in either list, it does not mean that your phone may not work. Chances are, if it is a recent model with Bluetooth, it will work - So, we encourage you to try anyway.

If your phone has a Windows Mobile Operating system, in general, Microsoft Phone Data Manager Beta will work with it; please note that for Windows Mobile phones, Microsoft Phone Data Manager Beta will work only via a USB data cable connection.

It's hilirious (and possibly a joke on MS's part) that the iPhone doesn't support the necessary bluetooth protocols for this...

I just tried it... not really a fan... Contact sync only works with Windows Live... Not Outlook...

Sticking to PC Suite for now...

I can't seem to sign in to the live service, whenever i do, the app crashes.... I can't believe i'm saying this but now the score is:

    Nokia:1 Microsoft:0

You'd think that a company like microsoft with so much experience would come up with some better ideas, nonetheless, i'm loving it already.

btw did you guys see the new samsung Pcstudio being released with the innov8? It's a total rip off of the Nokia pc suite LOL...
