This app actually records the power consumption on a time graph - Mainly intended for software developers in testing their apps

As Giz said the application is intended for software developer...It won't give accurate life of the battery..as what we ought to know..

ok so I've been running some tests today and my phone's been freaking out. A couple times I started the Energy Profiler app and when I hit start the phone restarted, also restarted once or twice when I plugged in the charger. Anyone seen this problem before?

Another note, I noticed the phone switching networks when I have no service in my building and this takes up battery life as seen in energy profiler. My question is since I'm in the US and I have the N95-1 is there a reason to keep network on Dual Mode since it can't use 3G or am I miss interpreting this function?

Not sure about the restarting..

But you're right about the latter, mate; keeping it in dual mode will only keep the phone searching for a UMTS connection it will never be able to find. Switching it to GSM will suit you best

Thanks mate, I thought this was the case but figured I'd ask anyway. Never looked at it without service to notice it flipping back and forth.

Hi.
Can the energy profiler listen to other inputs? You could make the nokia into a little ossciloscope with the right jacks...could be a hit. I call dibs!
