Default Shopping tips for this phone?

This phone looks great and perfectly matches my needs, but is quite costly (obviously). Apart from ebay, does anyone have any ideas on where one might find it for an affordable price? e.g., a place that might sell open box items...? I know it's a reach but I'd really like to buy it and it's just outside of my range...

Thanks for your help!

Oops. Yes, seeking shopping for the Nokia E90 -- would appreciate any ideas/suggestions (apart from ebay & amazon, that is).

Hi jprint714,

Unfortunately, for you, the E51 is maintaining its relatively high price.
The eBay "choices" remain the lowest priced however direct from Nokia will give you a totally unlocked and non-branded item.

Nokia have also released - as of yesterday - the E51 without a camera which will retails at about £30 (60 USD) cheaper than the "standard" version.

I know the E51 is expensive but believe me if you are able to stretch your budget you will not be dissapointed. They are an excellent phone and look stunning - especially in Rose Steel (my personal opinion of course). The operating system is fast and accurate and the "desktop screen" is by far the most versatile of any Series 60 phone in that you can even take off all those unsightly little icons that can be very frustrating.

Good luck with your choice and I hope you are able to find what you are after.

He's actually looking for the E90 Communicator. Unfortunately, this is a super premium device, and there's not really any deals to be had on it under 750 USD that I am aware of. You may come across some random deal on Ebay or elsewhere- but I wouldn't hold out much hope for that. Sorry.

Though- what exactly are your needs? Is it the qwerty keyboard? An option for you might be the E71 that was announced yesterday. The keyboard isn't as capable as the E90, but it does offer a much smaller package and a MUCH lower price. It should be shipped soon, and will also come in a US variant with 3G for AT&T- which might interest you. After getting on the 3.5G network with my N95-3 and the US N95 8GB- the lack of 3G is a deal breaker for me with new mobiles, and the E90 doesn't have US 3G.
