I was able to get a 32gb microSDHC Sandisk Class 10 UHS-1 to read on my N95-3. I plan on using it as my main mp3 player for my car. I put about 26gb worth of music on there and the phone takes a while to read the music but it sees most of the songs. The stock mp3 app reads about 3,984 songs in total but I have about another 550 songs on there that are not being read. Is 3,984 the max number of songs the stock app can play or is that the max of songs the phone itself can read? Also does anyone have any good recommendations of any free mp3 players that are good for the N95-3?

**Extra note: I do have my phone hacked and quite of a few things are the memory card itself too. I noticed that since I switched it to the 32gb class 10 the stuff loads quick onto the phone except for the reading of the songs.

I've made a few recordings using the onboard Recorder but for the life of me I can't find them when I browse the folders on my PC. I've tried transferring the files into a folder I can readily access on the PC using Recorder's transfer function but, although the phone says they're in the folder, I don't see them in there. I've tried searching for the files by name but they don't turn up.

Any ideas?

I just bought a Pureview but I'm struggling with a couple of things.
Can anyone please tell me how to setup gmail as exchange so I get push email. I've tried using a couple of guides but keep getting an error message.

I set up my gmail account as normal but that doesn't do push email at all and offers a "download after notify" option but I have no idea what that is!

Also, I seem to be on FP1, how do I update?

Many thanks.

808 as a camera only without a SIM? Thoughts and advice?

I'm thinking of buying an 808. Actually I'm drooling over the chance to own one :jaw: LOL! I want the camera! The quality which AFAICT from reviews...

I'm thinking of buying an 808. Actually I'm drooling over the chance to own one :jaw: LOL! I want the camera! The quality which AFAICT from reviews is almost as good as a digital SLR.

But, perhaps even more importantly, I'm after Nokia's patented 4 microphone set up as I want to record outdoor videos for youtube with high quality audio e.g. nature videos where you can hear the speakers and not all the wind. Or videos of cool grafitti in alleyways where you can hear the artists over the airconditioners and other machinery. NO ONE except for some company that recently got caught trying to reverse engineer Nokia's quad microphone set up offers this. And it's not just the quad mics but the alogrythems Nokia came up with tho process the signals. It appears to me that to get anything approaching the 808's audio quality you'd have to use an external mic or mics with attachments etc which would be awkward for what I want to do.

My only problem is that I don't want to give up my E7! I really like the slide out keyboard because I can send literate e-mails and text and take notes etc. I have tried Swype, it's ok; certainly better than pecking at an onscreen keyboard, but it just doesn't cut it. I can type out a long e-mail or short memo in QuickOffice on my E7 hard QWERTY in about 1/3 the time it takes with Swype. So...

...do people have any opinions about using a Pureview 808 mainly as a camera? Would I constantly get annoying 'no sim' error messages? I'm thinking that I might use it just for photos and video (as described above) maybe take a few short notes or voice memos using vlingo or something and then transfer the photos and videos via wifi or USB (who'd want to transfer heaps of large files via expensive 3G anyway) The 808's micro SD popped into an adapter and then a laptop or even the little cable to USB (which the E7 and N8 also have BTW) basically gives you the ability to connect to a portable USB drive or plug into a USB hub or NAS anyway to quickly dump your 64 GB of photos.

SO does anyone see any problems with this plan? Am I crazy? Any comments or opions anyone? I honestly don't think that I can get a better camera for under $400 Australian (the going rate on-line for 808s).

Nokia Pureview 808 Manual ISO and Focus

I just bought the Nokia Pureview 808 mainly for the camera and the audio rich recording.

I wonder if you can access the ISO when filming or in video mode? It seems like it's only on auto which can be good in unpredicted lighting situations but also bad because it will constantly create flickering in the shaded areas of the images or where there's shadows and will sometime create bloom effects where you go from dark place to bright place and everything becomes super exposed.

I know you can access the manual ISO settings when using photography mode or when you just want to shoot pictures.

How can you access the manual iso setting in video mode? Is there any way to change the focus settings as well for example instead of tapping for the focus you can turn your volume control into a focus. I'm not really a fan of the jerkiness of the focus as I wanted a smooth one.

Please advise.
