Any1 Dealt with Nokia US Cust Service yet?
Hi all!
just would like to hear from anyone who had dealt with them since I think I want to take advantage of the warranty that they offer. As far as my experience with the N95-3 most have been fine compared to others in here. The only gripe I have is the wobbley slider ,which i want to have nokia fix since ive seen a post here where nokia in UK (i think) has provided some service centers with revamped sliders. It seems a light in the end of the tunnel for most of us with the problem. On a side note... Ive read from another forum that all N95-3 are suppose to be made in finland? is that 100% true? reason why I ask this is because mine is made in korea and so far I doubt that mine is a fake.... can Anyone here confirm this. thank you in advance! john |

Well that's strange, where did you see that? Is it on the label behind the battery? My N95-3 says Finland. It could be fake, where did you buy it?

I doubt it's fake , they are assembled in many different countries as Nokia has divisions pretty much everywhere now

Its marked just below where the sim card is. I hope it is not a fake. I got mine through Mobilecityonline.com here in the states and from the look of the Packaging it does look authentic even with the security label intack on the box with all the documents included . I did online registry on the nokia site & typed in my serial number and it went through. Anyone else with an input on make...thanks!
As far as most of you that has a unit thats been made in finland. Are you getting the same manufactuing defects on the finland made phones? like wobbley sliders, Hi pitch sound coming from speakers, and loose right side plastic cover on them. If so than it deosn't matter where its made as long that its not fake. Last edited by elefunk; 03-10-2008 at 09:35 AM. |

Hi i dont think you have anything to worry about. As pointed in the thread, Nokia has assembly plants almost everywhere. For ex: I have a N95-1,Vodafone Branded, made in china.I reckon you are fine.If its still under warranty, you should be able to get it fixed for free.Am not too sure whether this is common to every region/country but here in NZ Nokia has a 28 days right of return warranty.Which means any issues/problems we can get a straight swap to a new one,as long as its within the 28 days period.Btw, the one year standard warranty still applies.Good Luck.
