Weird text message
I recently got a new 95-1. I am using Tmobile in the USA. I keep getting this text message that is from +10476000000 and the subject line is n:m=1=1
And when i try to open it the error is "unable to open. Message format not supported" It comes many times a day. And only comes comes to the N95. Whe i put my sim card in my old Razr 2 phone i dont get any messages like that. Its only the N95. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

+10476000000 - Google Search
Google is a handy tool :-) You have to phone your network provider and tell them to block it. |

That Google link came up with a load of people asking pretty much the same question with people replying "I don't know"
It looks like some kind of message receipt. Try switching off service messages in messaging / options /settings Vic |

In the UK I think SMS is covered by the telecommunications act and I guess it's the same in the States so speak to your air time provider and ask them to block it if you are that concerned but you might find it stops by itself.
Are you just coming to, or have you just ended a contract? It's likely to be some sort of marketing. I used to get random calls from a number, I forget what it was now, but it was some marketing co in scotland, which had some sort of tie up with guess who, T-Mobile UK. Just used to ring 2 or 3 times and then cut off. This started just before my contract ran out and ended a few weeks after I got my new contract. I later found out it was a marketing company trying to sell me a new deal over the phone despite me being listed with the Telephone Preference Service. |

Quote taken from a message board.....
I just got a blackberry 2 weeks I was receiving the same text message almost every hour n:m=3=1 t-mobile & rimm both had no clue where it came from. The tech support guy at t-mobile seems to have finally figured it out. I use yahoo email and it was registered on the t-mobile web site but not on blackberry's server, he synchronized the email on both ends and the text seems to have stopped. He still don't know where it was originating from but he believes the text was being sent as some kind of locater cause the email servers weren't finding each other... |

i know this is really late but my bf and i get the same txt messages on our tmobile blackberry and samsung, we are not sure how but they are linked to emails. We get the message at the exact same time one of us receives an email. the weird thing is neither one of us have ever set up our email on either phone and we both get the message at the same time no matter which one of us it is who has received an email. if i get an email at 12:33pm then we both get the txt message at 12:33pm and vice versa if he receives the email. has anyone figured out how to turn it off
