Question N95 Phone Viruses?

Is there any risk of being infected with a virus for symbian OS that
could harm my N95??

Do any viruses for this OS actually exist? If so, can they affect a phone like
the N95?

I've been uploading lots of stuff into my phone lately (Music, videos, apps, games etc...)
and I got a little worried that some of these 3rd party apps might be infected with malware.

Does anyone know of existing viruses that can affect us?
Sypmthoms? Detection? Removal?

There's nothing currently wrong with my phone, but I though it would be interesting to
learn about this, in order to prevent posible exposure.

Listen to the AV companies, and you will need anti virus.

Listen to everyone else, and you won't.....

Take your choice.

Itīs basically common sense, if you keep your BT on all day long and suddenly receive a message from someone you donīt know, itīs up to you whether you open it or not. Besides when trying to install a software you truly know the source it asks for a lot of permission before installing.
Personally I think itīs a waste of money and space in your memory. Thank god the N95 didnīt installed one.

I dunno what BT is but on my phone when I get a message it just says 1 message and then gives you the option to show or exit. It doesn't say who its from or what number on the main screen, you have to open it to find out. I doubt many will exit and then go through the menu to inbox just to see who the message is from before opening.

I downloaded F-Secure but I don't know if it does me any good. I'll probably delete it when I need the space. There's not many app to chose from on the phone in the 'Download!' icon in Tools, so thats why I downloaded it! I know there's a lot of third-party apps but still..
