i fell victim to one of the n95-2 fakes on ebay before i bought a real n95-2 which is an excellent phone...
the fake actually looks quite good on the exterior but the inner workings of the phone itself is piss poor!!! i'll post pictures of the fake in a minute.

          the only thing that was genuine from this cloned phone was the battery i think as it had a nokia hologram on... so im using that as a spare battery for my phone lol.

well im not too sure. it reminds me of my stupidity on ebay and blowing almost £200 :| but when i have time i'll try and post videos of it operating..

One simple way to tell it's fake, that I've noticed before, is the lack of bright shiny gold contact-points (little gold-coloured circles) showing on the portion of green printed-circuit-board, visible under the SIM-holder... Note the amount of plain green board shown in the last pic of the group.

monkeyplay3k: Don't feel dumb - I reckon most people would be fooled by that one - looks pretty real that! I suppose if you never saw an 8gb before or didn't have one by the side of it, it would look quite convincing.
