It seems like a sort of oddity that the n95-2 is the only nseries device that has it's power saver in landscape mode (correct me if im wrong), but is there any way of changing it to normal protrait full screen mode like the n95-1 does, or n82?.
It's a shame i have to see my favourite changing colour water screensaver underwater - Flash Download in the small landscape mode!,
it looks so cool if it's in full screen protrait mode as it was on my n95-1 before

The great thing about cClock is that if you have a font installed then the digits (time) show in the same way as the font.

Ceewwll, at last there is something to take advantage of the glorious 2.8" display lol.

Hmmn, looking at that picture really makes me think its high time I installed this... The landscape thing on the N95 8GB is quite annoying!

I've read the dev site a bit, but can't quite make out how much of an impact it'll have on power consumption.

The only way I know is to install a 3rd party application like natural screensaver and its plugins. The plugin consists of several swf files for u to chose, you can also put ur own swf to make it a screensaver

handy weather
I found this out not long ago but its still in landscape but if you have Handy weather installed there's an option in the Power Saver settings to put a custom screen saver that shows the weather, time, keypad lock status, bluetooth missed calls blablablabla. I like it better than the default dark screen saver...

Portrait screensaver
Try this, I think it is freeware as I don't see any limitations anywhere. I hope I won't make anyone angry. It is not mine but I use it...
Just change the extension to ".rar", it is a RAR file, it is not a zip file, I just changed the extension because I can only add zip files here.
When you install it it is under the Personalization / Powersaver...
Hope it helps...
