Thumbs up Browsing in tabs made easy (thanks The Nokia Blog!)

Just saw this

Basically just make the internet tab the first tab in your multimedia menu (not sure if this works on N95-1, suspect there is too little RAM). Open the browser as usual, then press the multimedia key to create new tabs. Press 5 to see and browse between all open tabs. Nice!

Very nice indeed. There was a work around for this before but it was waaayyyy to cumbersome to be of much practical use.

Doesn't seem to work on the N95-3. Anyone else had any luck with it?

No problem Mark - I read at your site pretty often, and this is particularly good news for N82 and 8GB owners.

Probably wouldn't work on the N95-1 (and maybe the N95-3) because of the difference in the multimedia menu :)

Yeah, I wondered that too (but mostly I figured it would be a RAM issue, I used to get out of memory warnings evening on V20 when browsing in a single window on my N95-1).

Its great, I now have the sites I most frequently check in the Internet tab in the multi-media menu and can set them all going in a matter of seconds - finally a use for the multi-media button!
