It seems about the same to me. The camera does launch faster. I don't see ASR anywhere. It didn't come with Maps 2.0 so, you still have to update that. That's about all I have seen. I haven't got too deep into it and I have only had the phone for a couple of months so I am by no means an expert to begin with. If I find something groundbreaking, I will post it here.

No ASR according to a guy on HF too, he said he's looked everywhere for it.

Hrmmmm interesting... I wonder if they're gonna phase it out of their other phones in future updates

I doubt it, Im guessing there will be another firmware available soon with ASR for the N95-4, similar thing that happened to the N95-2

Like many have stated, I updated firmware yesterday and battery life definitely seems to be improved. Well worth the update I think. I used it all day yesterday from full charge, left my phone charger at my friend's house, and even used it as a 'boombox' all night when me and my friends were drinking at this pond. This morning I still had 5 bars on my battery!

Updated just a few hours ago. No ASR (was looking forward to that). Text size is changed. Chinese has been added to the list of "writing languages" :).
Japanese is no longer scrambled with boxes and squiggles for the name of my music file.
