hard reset help

hi, i've just done a hard reset on my phone as nsu was keep failing. now all i have is a white screen, it's been like this for about 5 mins. do i keep waiting? or do i power off. scared to do anything incase i brick my phone. please help. thanks

that was scary. took battery out as it was just hanging, phone just kept going to blank screen! done a search and powered using 3 * and green, back on, thank f for that!!!!
