I'm guessing you'll be using the Silent profile, if not, just select the profile you are wanting.

Goto: Tools > Profiles > Silent > Personalise.

Set mesage alert tone to "Message 4.mid".

This will make the phone vibrate twice instead of once. As long as the ringing type is silent, it won't make a noise. Select a longer ringtone for it to vibrate longer.

Not for message on it's own. But in general, yes.

In Tools . Settings, General , Personalization.

    LOL this. Brilliant!

But that wasn't the first thing I thought of, unfortunately...

    It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!

It works perfectly for me and I'd recommend it to anyone. It was because of the OP's problem that I originally bought it.

For me it's the one app I call essential. I used to miss my wife's messages and she thought I was ignoring her......
