Mark text message as unread

Hi

Is there a way to manually mark a text message as unread? I can't figure out how to do it, and have run out of places to look.

Chris

Why don't you just set up a folder for unread, and move it across?

Ideally what I want it to do is for the unread text icon to come up on the standby screen again. It's so that if I don't reply to a message straightaway I won't forget to later on. (Memory like a goldfish!) On my SE one of the options was "mark as unread", but not having found the same option on the N95 I'm beginning to think that I might not have one.

Moving it to a folder marked unread would work up to a point, but I still might forget it.

Hi Chris, maybe Remind Me would suit your purposes?

MobiFun Software

You can set it to remind you about missed calls/texts/emails every so often, by playing a tone, beeping, vibrating, switching on the phone lights etc.

I highly recommend it!

Why would I want to do that?

I'll have a look at Remind Me, another feature I miss from SE was the ability to show a note on the standy screen. Admittedly they're only minor things though, and I suppose one phone can't be expected to do *everything*!

*edit: What I'm after is some way to remind myself to reply to a text that I have read, but have yet to reply to. Setting it to unread just seemed like the easiest way because then I'd think I had a new message, and when I read it I'd remember that I needed to reply.

Chris

Im in the same boat, I frequently forget to reply to messages when I have read them.

However would marking them unread really be the best option?

I reckon that a symbol next to the message if you have replied in the inbox list would be much better. Just like the one on email clients.

Cant say that theres an app for this though, but would definatly be a good feature.
