Hi have just purchased a scandisk 8gb micro sd hc card from memorybits.Backed up old card using pc suite latest version.put new card in phone and used pc suite to restore phone card memory.Only problem is phone does not show stuff that is on memory card(8gb).If i put original 1gb card back in it works.do i need to use a different method? I have aN95 on V21 firmware.

I normally just copy everything from the card and then paste it into a folder on my PC.I then put the new card in the PC or card reader, then copy everything from the folder back onto the card.

I've never got ANY problems doing it that way.

Hiya, ive been using 8gb microsd hc cards for a while now in my n95 and they work fine. I had a memory problem however, it seems that i had 8000 pics on my card and it just sapped all the phone memory.

Hope your copy and paste method solves your problem

My Tip: Before using the gb card, load it into your PC, go to My Computer right click on it and choose full format.

Just to just a quick update.I have now got 8gig card installed and working fine.It has been a challenge but i just kept reformating the card. There seemed to be some conflict with internet radio installation.Once i got rid of that and all files connected with it everthing was ok.Reinstalled it and all is fine.It turns out my card reader 4years old wont read micro sdhc cards will read sd micro.thanks to all who replied.
