Replacement N95 8GB - how long?

G'day

After a good few phonecalls, during which I was advised I would only receive a refurbished handset to replace my dodgy first purchase, last week I finally received confirmation that I would indeed receive a brand new N95 8GB. Question is, is Nokia quick at doing this? I sent the handset yesterday (Special Delivery) - am I being too optimistic in thinking I will receive the replacement sometime this week? Does anyone know if Saturdays are included in the delivery slots? Am I also being too optimistic in thinking that when I initially purchased my first handset with the Express Delivery option, Nokia will do the same again?

Any experiences, opinions much appreciated.

well ive just waited 51 days!!!!!


however i got my 8gb in a weekend... sent on fri got on monday

51 days for what, an original purchase or replacement? Please don't say replacement

well if nokia are nokia you should have it in 7-10 working days

they are prompt when they wanna be

but mine took 51 days because my replacement was nicked from the courier van! so nokia sent me another 5 weeks later

Thanks for the info. What a bummer your phone was stolen! Just hope I get mine soon as I'm missing it already and of course, that the replacement works properly!
