Place finder on GPS
(i dint put this in the 'its broke' section as i didnt think its warrented it yet)
For some reason my GPS can never find any location i tell it to! When your looking at the standard map & just start typing, it brings up the search box, but no matter what i put it comes back with "No Results Found", whether its a road, town or city!!! :( It worked fine when i first used it! Is there a setting ive turned of by mistake (ive turned of the datatransfer (GPRS) but that shouldnt matter should it?) that would affect it? Would it just be a case of a fresh install?? Also, my route planner seems to think cars can only travel at 25mph.... a 75m route it has as taking over 3hrs?!?! WTF?? |

Think this is not a GPS issue, but a Maps issue....Which map are you using?

have you upgraded firmware? The old firmware would require a data connection when searching even though you had the map loaded on. The new firmware fixes this issue.

For the speed, what do you have set for 'Transport Mode'? See Maps > Options > Plan Route > Options > Settings |
