Difference between Mass Memory & Phone Memory? (was:difference)

hi, what is the difference between mass memory and phone memory? thx in advance

Mass memory is the additionally memory card in your phone.

Phone memory is the base memory that is installed in the phone and isn't removable.

ye thx it does but i have a n95 8gb. Does the 8gb count as mass memory or phone memory

Ah well, without the info in your profile it was hard to guess which phone you had.

I'm guessing you looked on memory settings to get the name of both mass memory and phone memory.

I don't have an 8gb to hand but another family member has one and off my head. The phone memory option is only really called that when it comes to doing 'back ups' of the phone data. (That includes everything though)

I can only assume the mass memory on the 8gb phone when 'formatted' keeps intact items like contacts and basic phone settings.
