8GB is enough for me. The fact that it plays video, mp3 are a plus, but that doesn't mean that it's going to be used for that sole purpose.
Whenever I take pictures/videos with the phone, I download them on my computer when I get home.
When it's not removable, I never leave "valuable" stuff on the phone, I copy them over to somewhere else.
That way, if the phone dies on me, then I will only worry about my phone settings and stuff.

Especially if they crammed it full of RAM. And a bigger screen and xenon flash *xmas wishlist*

8GB is fine for me too. As mentioned in a previous post, I use my iPod Classic to store music so space is not an issue.

If there were a 32Gb or 64Gb model I might be tempted, as that would seriously increase the capacity. As it is I'm running at about 7Gb, and swap albums and movies around when required. If I'm on a trip of a few days, that's fine, but for longer trips I take my 80Gb MP3 player as well.

See it's not the size that matters, i keep telling you men that!

Darla obviously doesn't seem to think so... Hmmm

No honestly? If i never had a n95 before, maybe. Now? No. I wouldn't bother. I certainly don't need that space, and i've had an n95 for a year and never surpassed 2gb. There's only so much music i can listen to. I do work, you know!

Darla Mack? THE Darla Mack? ... The Darling of Nokia? ... Or so it seemed, as at one point they gave her a specially-produced PINK N95!

Darla mack has bought an iPhone? "One of the reasons that I purchased the 16GB iphone over the 8GB..." WHAT!?!

I dismissed her site as containing pointless witterings ages ago, as I've always thought that woman knew less about the technicalities of handsets than even *I* did... This proves it!

I really wish they'd made a better quality music player though..

I TOTALLY AGREE! Wtf is that woman about? I've always thought her stuff was completley pointless. The bird seems to be the LAST to know about things anyway!

This is the first I've heard of this darlamack, but don't know if I'll read her blog very often..

If There Were a 16GB N95... Would You Buy One?: Nokia S60 News and Reviews

is more memory needed? I mean I know none of us like getting that "memory full" error message, especially when we can't really target where it's coming from and what makes it happen.

This doesn't make sense... Increasing the storage memory from 8GB to 16GB won't help with the memory full messages... bumping up the RAM will, but not the storage memory..

I thought this was common knowledge...

they need to perfect the slider before cramming more memory into it
