Have you tried this solution - http://www.n95users.com/forum/third-...tml#post132597 - obviously you need to change your default lock code.

Alternatively you can try this application - ActiveLock v1.0 freeware for Symbian. S60, S80 and UIQ free software downloads for Symbian OS Phones.

You will need to get Active Lock signed first, there is a sticky on the subject of signing symbian applications, it's pretty straightforward.

Welcome to the forums.!

What about using the built-in phone lock.?

Briefly press the power button, and scroll down to "Phone Lock" When its locked, it shows a big padlock on the screen.

Default code is 12345

I'm with Micky on this - there is no way to get through that lock at all unless you know it. I'm not sure of what other way you're locking your phone which she is able to by-pass by calling it.

You've got me stumped.

The SIM lock is only for when you're turning the phone on. In the phone lock options you can set it to request the code when the SIM is changed too.. so it's pretty robust as long as you enable the lock.

Settings > Tools > General > Security > Phone and Sim Card

Turn the Phone autolock period to like 5m, change the Lock code and say Yes to Lock if SIM card changed. This should sort all of your problems.

You could also try one of the many blacklist applications to bar her number from calling it completely.

Traumatic times, I wish you the very best of luck.

I don't think that's the issue gordon. It appears that HAS the phone, and when she calls it the automatic keylock is disabled so she can access it. However, you can also turn the keylock off by opening the slider... which is why, in my previous post, I said I was stumped.

However I'm sure he can bar her number by calling his service provider too.

wow sorry to hear about the divorce and **** your wife does seem to be quite cunning. The only thing I could say is if you are going to leave your phone lying around while going through the divorce make sure you back it up to your computer and then just do a hard reset which will wipe out everything. Then change your call logs to not store any calls and change your texts to not save at all. This will at least give her nothing to find when she goes looking.

I have just tried ringing my N95 & although you can answer the call you cannot get into the phone as long as the 5 digit lock code is in place.

Bear in mind if you have not changed the default 12345 lock code to something else then getting in is easy.
