When I tried Advanced Device Locks, it worked in hiding content but it had to transfer the content to the C:\ drive which obviously fills up rapidly. If you install ADL to the memory card, does it use the memory card as secure storage instead?

Logan.
The short answer is YES. I have ADL installed on my memory card and when I removed the card, with the phone switched on, I could not access my settings and Notes because I could not enter the locking code I set for them.

In fact with the card out, because I have set ADL to lock the phone after a set period I could not even open the phone.
Found that out when I had changed the card and had the wrong card in the phone on start up.
Thats the only danger I found.

Cheers for the update ;) Just seems an impossibility, to find a piece of software that will lock a specified folder. Granted that wouldn't protect the content once the memory card is removed.

I suppose what I'm looking for personally, is a simple bit of software that a) locks access on the phone to a specified folder b) hides said contents from the gallery c) encrypts said content in the folder so as it cannot be viewed on a PC.
