Unhappy N95-4 slight 'creaking' sound on screen?

Hey all,

I ended up going for it and upgrading to a N95 8GB, N95-4. I love it except for one slightly worrying thing. Whenever there is a little pressure on the screen (usually when wiping smudges or dust off), there is a slight "creak" or "crack" like sound that comes from the screen. Have other N95-4 owners noticed this, is this something I should contact Nokia about?

Thanks...

Joe

How is your slider? Is it loose?

Nah, my slider is pretty solid. Much better quality than my N95-3, IMHO.

Check to see if your 4 x T5 screws have been tightened up.

My 8gb does this sometimes when I push buttons at the bottom of the keypad - * 0 # particularly. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

Ther OP's not talking about the area around the screen not the keypad area.

Regarding your problem, maybe you should apply some pressure to the plastic at the bottom of your keypad as the area may bit a little loose hence the creaking.
