Same as the N95-2... RotateMe used to **** me like that... Not because it would rotate both ways, but because the other way was butt ugly and it couldn't do it right...

I've read a few people are having teething problems with V30, although many say the battery performance has improved even further than what V21 did. I think i may wait a little while longer before I upgrade myself.

Just to confirm. I upgraded to v30 on my Nokia N95-1 last night. Everything is up and running. No problems to report as of yet. Battery life does seem improved and I'm noticeing an ever so slight increase in available RAM after boot then previously. ASR works fine, however I'm still using Landscape Pro as it does both ways (without looking **** like RotateMe used to) and can be customised to work only in certain applications.

Other then that, I can't really notice any real differences on the surface.

Also worth mentioning, I successfully hacked the phone using Drakkarious 3.01.

For those of you in the states who do not wish to wait like three months or longer for the latest firmware update to the 95-1, I just finished, took 4.5 hours.
I ran into some issues others have mentioned. Thankfully I was able to utilize the search function and was able to fix all the issues.

First I had to download the latest version of Nokia software updater

Second I changed the product code utilizing NSS to Euro-1 plum

Third I went into the now updated NSU and downloaded V.30

Fourth I went back to NSS and changed the product code back to USA and re-loaded my phone memory from the earlier back-up.

Fifth I reinstalled all my programs including the Stowaway keyboard application

Had the issue with the system error of the memory card trying to install a program. I did a search and through trial and error fixed it finally.

Then I had a new issue: system error on the phone. This time it did not mention the earlier memory card/installing application issue. Did a search and found earlier issues after a firmware update with the fact that I had re-loaded the Stowaway keyboard program on the phone memory. I deleted it from the phone memory and installed it on the memory card.

This is my experience. Thanks to all the folks and especially Mr. G for his helpful posts.
